Previously, prior to enlightenment, I used to sport a dell. It was fine, but never received a single comment. The mac receives compliments all the time, its great. I am working this week out of our good friends office (Effect Web Media) while they are in the Sudan. And it is really the first time I have spent a substantial amount of time (more than a few hours) downtown Goshen, Indiana. It is really quite a cool town. Being from the Seattle (WA) area, I have found that living in Goshen was a bit hard to get used to (and still can be at times), but while I sit here this morning, working on developing a web site, I am reminded how quaint small towns can be. Working on a website for a high end area rug company out of Granger, Indiana today. I am very excited about this project. The company is a great company and has been wonderful to work with. The site design is using some great features like a google maps API, a few javascript slideshows and some PHP applications. The rug gallery is utilizing some great code from Lightbox for viewing the images. It really enhances the design of the rug gallery. Direct Rug Imports sells rugs to Granger, Goshen, Elkhart, South Bend, Mishawaka, Warsaw and other surrounding areas around Indiana. They also service many areas in Michigan and Illinois. They have a satellite office in Chicago and do many shows around the area and nationwide. McGlinchy Media & Design, LLC has been glad to work on their website design and website development. We look forward to the site going live next week and starting to generate positive leads for our clients.

McGlinchy Media & Design is pleased to announce that we have begun working with Yoder’s Department Store in Shipshewana, Indiana. We will be providing training and consulting to their technical staff. We began working with them as a collaborative project with Effect Web Media, a Goshen based Web Consulting Firm we network with. Working on many proposals over the next few days. Seems like the first of the year is when everyone wants website design or website development work done. We enjoy working with a variety of companies. We enjoy the change of pace with each new web site project and the different design work we get to create. It’s all very enjoyable. Right now we have a few projects in Elkhart, multiple in South Bend/Mishawaka area, a couple in Shipshewana and Sturgis (MI) and more pending in Bremen, Warsaw -all in Indiana. We have a few projects pending in the Seattle, Washington area (which is the area I grew up). We have had good success with our article in The Truth, a regional newspaper based out of Elkhart, IN. A few clients have contacted us through that article. Great exposure.
