Indiana Web Design and the “Look at me” generation
During a bit of research today about Indiana Web Design, I stumbled accross an article about the upcoming generation (18-25 years). They are being coined the “Look at me” generation by the press and it is no wonder why. They can access information via Web Design with the flip of a phone, they have been fed the lines “have it your way” by McDonalds and similar propoganda from other organizations since they were 6 months old and their mothers plopped them in front of the TV. They are bombarded with websites that promote them, tv shows that promote individuals just like them, and heck might as well be them. YouTube, Myspace, facebook… the list goes on and it all wraps up one reaccuring theme… It’s all about you. So how will this effect Indiana Website Design and Indiana web development? Well, we will probably be thinking of ways to create even more interactivity for this soon-to-be consuming generation. If they believe its all about them, then that is what they will be looking for, or we try to show them the falcity of that mentality. Is the damage done already? Or will this generation learn to adapt and contribute to a society that was founded on greater principles than “all eyes on me, I only care for myself?” Only time will tell that, but for now, Indiana web design will look at what may reach this generation and speak their language - as best as possible.
