Could Burmese Python’s make it to Southern Indiana - Indiana Web Design investigates
Apparently some hosers in south Florida released Burmese Pythons into the everglades and now, Indiana web design finds, they are taking over. These nonnative snakes, believed to be former pets, were released into the everglades and now scientists estimate have populated to somewhere around 30,000. They are a major threat to the eco system as well as a potential hazard to humans. A full grown python can weight in at 250 pounds and stretch 20 ft long - and can strangle it’s rival - the American alligator - and EAT IT. This amazes Indiana web design, as does the fact that scientist believe that if all continues as it appears (you know the whole global warming idea) that the snakes could reach as far NW as San Francisco and North as Southern Indiana. The problem is, there really is no predators for these snakes in North America. Where these snakes thrive, so do large cats and crocodile - which will help keep the population down. But here in North America, we may have a problem. So, should what can Indiana Web Design do? There is another problem, there really isn’t much we can do. What is the alternative, introduce nonnative large cats? It all comes down to the complete irresponsibility and stupidity of some Americans who purchase exotic pets (probably on ebay or some website) and after a few months decide they don’t want it anymore. So what do they do, release it. Bright idea. Well, I guess Indiana web design will continue on as normal and we will watch how this all plays out.
